The Zoning Hearing Board is made up of members who hear, upon appeal, applicants who desire variances, challenges, non-conforming requests or special exceptions made to the Zoning Ordinance. They also hear appeals of decisions made by the Zoning Officer. In rendering a decision, the Board considers testimony, as well as the impact on the community. Decisions made by the Board may be appealed to the Court of Common Pleas of Chester County.
The Zoning Hearing Board meets as needed.
