Snow Emergency Information
In the event of a snow emergency, information will be posted on the Borough home page, Borough Facebook Page and Police Department website. Remember to clear your sidewalks within 24 hours after the storm to keep the sidewalks safe for your neighbors. All vehicles must be moved from the designated Snow Emergency routes during the time period posted. Any vehicles left on the designated snow emergency routes (streets) will be subjected to ticketing and towing at the owners’ expense. The streets that are designated as snow emergency routes in the borough are as follows:
- West First Avenue (State Route 372)
- Grant Street
- Main Street
- West Bridge Street
- West Fifth Avenue
- South Gay Street
- Strasburg Avenue
- North Culvert Street
- Washington Avenue
- Green Street
- Chapel Avenue
